Program for Homeschool Adolescents and Young Adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders
The Charlotte TEACCH Center is excited to partner with Central Piedmont Community College to offer the 12-week T-STEP program for students ages 16-21, with autism spectrum disorder.
During this 12-week program, students will have the opportunity to learn about organization and executive function skills, emotion regulation skills, and social skills to increase their success at the college level. An additional internship component allows students to practice the skills they have learned with the support of internship related counseling. Further supports are also offered through higher education counseling, career counseling, and self-advocacy counseling.
Several spots remain for the fall course that begins September 12, 2017!
