NC Homeschool National Geographic Bee!

 

Are you looking for a way to make learning geography fun for your student?  Participate in the NC Homeschool National Geographic Bee!

 

Why? 

It is FREE!  It is FUN!  It is EDUCATIONAL!

 

Encourage your students to learn about world geography and current events by signing them up to participate in the NC Homeschool National Geographic Bee. 

 

Who Can Participate?

The Bee is open to ALL NC homeschool students in grades 4 through 8.  Students must reside in North Carolina to be eligible to participate.  Participation is FREE!

 

When is the Bee and Where is it Held?

 

The NC Homeschool Geographic Bee will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Covenant Church 800 Fullwood Lane, Matthews, NC 28105 (Map)

 

How Do I Register My Student to Participate in the NC Homeschool National Geographic Bee?

There two ways to register:

  1. Students are welcome to register in advance by sending an email to Tiffany Broome.  Please include the following information about your student(s) in your email:  Name(s), Date(s) of Birth, Grade Level(s), and a cell phone number for parents.
  2. Students may register on-site on the day of the event.  

 

How Can My Student Prepare for the NC Homeschool National Geographic Bee?

We recommend that you visit the Study Corner on the National Geographic Bee website to get study tips and obtain daily quizzes.  You can also see previous Bee winners!

The winner of the NC Homeschool National Geographic Bee may advance to compete in the state (UNC Charlotte) and national (Washington, DC) level Bees for scholarships up to $50,000!
